Where do you live?

Parker, Colorado

How long have you been involved with COPAS?

I’ve been a member for 20 years but didn’t get involved at the National level until about 12 years ago.

What has been your favorite COPAS Event?

They are all great in their own special way but Phoenix and Santa Barbara have probably been my favorites.

What do you think the biggest benefit has been to you?

Networking with other professionals more knowledgeable than me and also less knowledgeable as it is very rewarding to share some of the knowledge I’ve learned with newer professionals and continue to learn from others.

What would you tell someone else about getting involved?

The time at the meetings is worth every minute away from the office as you can bring issues here and usually get some answers and also meet people you can call with an issue when you get back to the office.

What would you say about the networking within COPAS?

Networking is one of the keystones to COPAS and everyone is willing and wanting to discuss issues and build a network of very knowledgeable members to be a key component to your company and the industry.

Why should people in this industry be a part of COPAS?

We are the key to determining the best way to account for changing technologies in the industry. It’s a dynamic group that writes documents for these changing technologies.

Share one fun fact about you that most people don’t know.

I was a Scottish Highland dancer for about 15 years and danced competitively around the United States.
