Upon the culmination of its annual Fall meeting on September 24th, COPAS has re-elected one director and elected two new individuals to its board of directors. They will serve three-year terms that will start on January 1st, 2021 and will end on December 31st, 2023.
Melissa Gruenewald, the founder and CEO of Green Forest Financial, PLLC and current Vice President of COPAS, was re-elected to the board of directors and will replace Tammy Miller-Davidson as President of COPAS when 2021 begins. Gruenewald is a member of COPAS OKC.
The newly appointed directors are Kirk Foreman and Rebecca Paris. Kirk Foreman is an accounting manager for LOE, Frac Sand and Lease Accounting at EOG Resources. Rebecca Paris is an accounting manager for Federal and Indian Royalty Reporting and Williston Revenue, WPX Energy.
Foreman is currently President of the Petroleum Accountants Society of San Antonio, and Paris is a member of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Oklahoma-Tulsa and most recently served as COPAS Revenue Standing Committee Chair.
In addition, the COPAS board has elected new officers, whose duties will begin on January 1st, 2021. A list of appointees follows:
